Rhoda Floral Design Tecoma - Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Rhoda Floral Design for your floral needs. Please take a moment to review our terms and conditions, as they outline the rights and responsibilities of both our customers and our florist shop. By utilising our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms:

1. Orders and Delivery

1.1. Orders:

  • You may place an order through our website, by phone, or in-person at our shop.

  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by Rhoda Floral Design.

  • Orders for perishable items such as fresh flowers are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded once we have created them.

1.2. Delivery:

  • We strive to deliver orders on the specified date and time. However, due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or weather conditions, delays may occur.

  • We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from a delay in delivery.

  • If the recipient is unavailable at the specified delivery location, and you have not given us permission to leave the item or if there is no safe place for the item to be left, you may be liable for a return-to-shop or re-delivery fee.

2. Substitutions and Modifications

2.1. Flower Substitutions:

  • We will make every effort to provide the flowers specified in your order. However, in the event of unavailability, we reserve the right to substitute them with flowers of equal or greater value and similar style.

  • If you have any specific preferences or restrictions regarding substitutions, please inform us when placing your order.

2.2. Modifications and Cancellations:

  • Modifications or cancellations to an order must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pick-up time.

  • We cannot guarantee that modifications or cancellations can be accommodated after this timeframe, as it may depend on the stage of preparation and availability of the flowers.

  • Cancellations of orders that include fresh flowers will carry a cancellation fee. This fee will depend on how much notice is given before the scheduled delivery or pick up. Please see 3.3. Refunds for more information.

3. Payments and Refunds

3.1. Pricing:

  • All prices displayed on our website or communicated through other channels are in local currency and inclusive of applicable taxes.

  • Additional charges may apply for customised orders, expedited deliveries, or special requests. These will be communicated to you prior to finalising the order.

3.2. Payment:

  • Payment for your order can be made online, in-store, or by phone.

  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other electronic payment methods as well as cash.

  • All card payments are subject to processing fees.

  • Payment is required in full at the time of placing the order except in the case of wedding, event or funeral tributes where a deposit will be needed. Deposits for weddings and events will be outlined in your individual quote. A 25% deposit is required at time of ordering funeral florals with the remaining balance to be paid no later than 48 hours before delivery or pick up.

3.3. Refunds:

  • Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the circumstances. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order to discuss any issues and include any photos.

  • You may be offered an exchange or store credit.

  • Refunds will not be provided for perishable items unless there is a reasonable cause for complaint.

  • You may be asked to return a product to the shop before a refund can be processed.

  • Refunds will not be given for the delivery fee portion of the order if the delivery was completed.

  • Any refunds processed are subject to processing and admin fees.

  • Refunds will not be given for perishable items such as flowers if less than 24 hours notice of cancellation is given before the scheduled delivery or pick up date/time.

  • Partial refunds may be given to orders cancelled with more than 24 hours notice.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

4.1. Privacy Policy:

  • We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

  • Please review our Privacy Policy for more information on how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Ownership:

  • All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to logos, designs, and content, displayed on our website or social media channels are the property of Rhoda Floral Design. They are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

  • You shall not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
