Refunds & Returns Policy

At Rhoda Floral Design, we take great pride in creating beautiful, fresh floral arrangements and thoughtfully curated gifts. Because flowers are perishable and often made to order, our refunds and returns policy reflects the nature of our products while remaining fair and transparent for our customers.

Fresh Flowers

Flowers are a natural product and may vary slightly in colour, size and seasonal availability. While we do our utmost to replicate the style and palette of your chosen arrangement, substitutions may occasionally be necessary to ensure quality and freshness.

If you are not satisfied with your flowers:

  • You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery or collection

  • Please provide clear photographs of the arrangement

  • The product must be returned to the store (where reasonably possible)

Where a quality issue is confirmed, we may offer:

  • A replacement arrangement, or

  • A partial or full refund, at our discretion

We are unable to offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer

  • Failure of the recipient to collect or be available for delivery

  • Flowers that have not been properly cared for according to our care instructions

Plants

Plants are living items and require appropriate care. We ask that you follow the care instructions provided.

If a plant is faulty or unhealthy at the time of purchase, please contact us within 48 hours with photos. If approved, we may offer a replacement or refund.

We cannot accept returns for plants that have declined due to environmental conditions, overwatering, underwatering, or improper care.

Hampers, Giftware & Non-Perishable Items

For non-perishable items (such as vases, giftware and hampers), returns may be accepted within 7 days of purchase provided:

  • The item is unused and in original condition

  • Packaging is intact

  • Proof of purchase is provided

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Custom & Event Orders

All custom orders, wedding flowers, event work and large installations require deposits to secure your booking.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations within agreed timeframes may incur charges to cover materials and labour already committed.

Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your event agreement.

Delivery Issues

If there is an issue with delivery, please contact us as soon as possible on the day of delivery.

We are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect addresses supplied at checkout

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather, recipient unavailability)

If redelivery is required due to incorrect details, additional delivery fees may apply.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
